SYW - Austrian artillery

My project to get all Armys of the SYW in 1/72 scale get a new step. In Cooperation with Stanislaw Czarnecki (guns) and Giuseppe Condorelli (Figure) we manage to complete the Austrian Artillery.
In the time of the SYW the Austrian artillery consists the following guns:

1. 3   pounder regimental gun
2. 6   pounder gun
3. 7   pounder howitzer
4. 12 pounder gun
5. 24 pounder Siege gun
For transport the guns are travelled with a Y-frame limber by different number of horses:

1. 3   pounder = 2 horses in tandem
2. 6   pounder = 4 horses
3. 7   pounder = 4 horses
4. 12 pounder = 6 horses
5. 24 pounder = 8 horses.
Because of this , I decide that the guns (ex the 3 pounder) will be packed with the needed limber, and the crew will come separate. The horses of the horse team come with the needed ride trooper in sets of 2 and 4 horses, so you could combine each needed horseteam.
The 3 pounder come directly with the limber (different from the other) and 2 horses + 1 rider.

Here now the photo of this models, first the 3 pounder , complete with a team of 4  trooper.

In the moment we are missing the 24 pounder siege gun and the 2 sets Artillery, the first command "Fire" , and the second command "Loading". Here photo of the first master figure for this sets.

The 24 pounder, the horse team and some supply wagon will follow at the end of this Year. Hope that you could use this gun in your Austrian army SYW.
When in stock , you find the Austrian Artillery SYW in my webshop:

SYW Austrian Cuirassiere

Hi my friends,

long time after my last post . The chemo have ended and it seam that I won the fight against chancer. Now the third CT without anymore new chancer, so I could start now planning some more better for the future.

Also come back into the hobby and the business. In the time of my illness my friendly sculpterer go on with working, so now a realy lot of ready sculpted figure are waiting to be produced. So thank you very much to Max Hecker, Guiseppe Condorelli, Stanislaw Czarnecki and Martin Feldwick for there excelent work in this time.

This is all over the old time periods and some new are coming !

The first blog this time is the SYW Austrian Cavalry . Giuseppe sculpted the Austrian Dragon , Hussar and Cuirassiere on standing and trotting horses. The attack groups on galopping horses follow later. Here my painting of the first sets of the cuirassiere.

As only 4 Cavalry with there horses fit into 1 blister , I have to split up the command groups into 2 sets with some additional trooper. The complete command group consists:
1 officer
2 standart bearer with the standarts for 1st Cuirassier Rgt.
1 sergeant
1 kettle drummer
1 trompet

Hope you enjoy this new troops for SYW.

Painting in the last months

Hi Folks,

long time ago, that I wrote last time here. In May this year I got from my doctor diagnose cancer.
First they try to cut the chancer away, but he he was too fast and had already scattered. So a time of
chemo theraphy begann.
In the time I am at home I try to work a little on new releases. It had been some time very difficult as I was always tired and exhausted. So not very much had been finished in the last months. Around Christmass the Chemo Theraphy will end , and I hope that I could work as usual in the new year 2016.

Here now the sets I finished in the last months:

this is a new set in Germaia Figuren® range of STEAMPUNK in 1/72 scale. the Postman with his steampowered bike meets the family of ex General Burdon. After losing his leg, he finished his service in her Majesty Army.

The next set bring us to the growing range of SYW (Seven Year War) from Germania Figuren®
This time wounded and dead Austrian Grenzer:
I am happy to anounce that a lot of figure and horses had been sculpted by Giuseppe Condorelli, so we will be able to bring in the next months the complete Austrian Cavalry of SYW with different movements.
The Dragoon, Cuirassiere and Hussar will come in the following position:
1. standing at the ready
2. trotting on march or first part of attack / different handling of sabre
3. Attacke with galloping horses
for each movement there come the complete command group plus the trooper.

Next set is a set of Germania Figuren® range of ACW figure. This time the second set of the Virginia Cavalry:
this time a Sergeant, Trumpeter and 2 trooper. The third set will be 4 trooper to form a individual column to present this Unit under General J.E.B. Stuart on the way to Gettysburg.

The last release is the Horse Drawn Ambulance Wagon of the German Army 1939 - 45 named   in listings SF 2 .
together with the Heeresfeldwagen 7 this is a new line of horse drawn wagon in 1/72 which never had been offered in this scale. Germania Figuren® will bring more and more of this forgotten part of the armys.
This wagon could conoy the following load :  1. 8 wounded sitting soldier, 2. 4 wounded soldier on stretcher, 3. 4 sitting wounded soldier + 2 soldier on stretcher.
For remebering here the photo of the Heeresfeldwagen 7 in the 2 version which are offered from Germania Figuren®

I hope the next contribution to this blogg will come sooner. Just started some new sets painting, and if Chemo Theraphy is not as bad as last time, I will be able to handle this sets.

Ciao Michael

Internationale Zinnfigurenbörse 2015 - Kulmbach/ Bavaria - Germany

Hello,
for several months I had not been able to do anything in my hobby and in my webshop. In may 2015 the doctor informed me, that I have chancer , and a number of operation had followed after this information.
But between 2 operation I had been able to go to the International Tin soldier Show in Kulmbach / Bavaria. This show come every twice year and it was fantastic, that I had been able to visit and show my latest releases. All the heartly discussion with friends and collector are a great help in handling the chancer.
On Sunday I go around and make a lot of photo. Not all had been as good as I hope, but the best I want to show here:

It is a mix of different scales. Most of the 1/72 scale photo had not been good enought to share them with you, but I hope you enjoy the great work inside the exhibition, as I have done.

Ciao Michael
